Glycolic Peel
A Glycolic acid peel is a chemical exfoliation treatment utilizing the strongest alpha-hydroxy
acid to exfoliate the stratum corneum (outer most layer) of the skin, improving the aesthetic appearance and quality of the
skin. People with wrinkles, dull and dry skin, large pores, acne and sun damage would benefit from a glycolic peel.
This is also great for people who already have nice skin, but who would like a treatment for maintenance to their at home
skin care regimens. A series of six, 2-4 weeks apart will give you better results. With a glycolic peel you will
experience little to no downtime. Some people experience reddness, dry/flaky skin a couple of days after the peel.
MAkeup can be applied after the peel. Sunscreen must be worn daily for a minimum of two weeks after the peel.
You should continue with proper at home skin care to maintain and enhance results. Full benefits of the peel may be
seen one month after the peel. I suggest exfoliating one week prior to the peel with LexLi's ALoeGlyC to get better
results.
